I hate the fact that the M3 has become the new M5. Good quality, reliable used cars for sale at an extremely fair price in Bromsgrove in Worcestershire.

Nice sound system, decent camera, sensors, and driver aids. IMHO, the M3/M4 should be a driver focused sport car with a touch of luxury. I am willing to bet 90% of people don't use the phone charger, the liftgate, the backseat arm rest, the gesture control, etc. Instead, the BMW parts guy pulled up a big page of parts, told me I would have to buy them all individually, and then pay someone to put.

Just take out the silly stuff and make the car as light as possible. BMW would not even quote me a price on a manual sport seat (and yes, the manual seat does have the bolster adjuster-the 2009 328i with MSport pkg that I traded in had manual sport seats with that feature). The BMW 3-Series excels in the safety department. The boot runs deep enough, though the luggage area is only average in height. Cargo capacity has gone up by 20 litres to 480. I am not looking for a track focused car like the old CS models. A forum community dedicated to BMW E46, E90, and F30 owners and enthusiasts. Rear seat passengers get two cup-holders integrated into the center armrest, as well as the door / seatback pockets mentioned earlier. I have it on mine, never use it, and it never works anyway. The liftgate is another one of those useless options they pack into the car. The BMW F30 is a fleet workhorse, nothing more nothing less, I actually found it quite claustrophobic, when I had a go in one, yes I suppose I would prefer the F10, a bit bigger but not exactly a barge being around 5 cm longer and wider than an E39. Hec, they gave the G82 rear passengers control of their climate "to make them more comfortable", but BMW didn't want to give them an armrest? It's just silly to me.ĭelete a bunch of stuff on the track edition model, but not on the G8Xs that many will plan to drive regularly, with rear seat passengers. Then BMW should make a track special model (and you know it's coming), a lightweight G8X for those that want the lightest M possible.īut for the "standard models", already filled with quite a few luxury items (like an electronic liftgate), they should add in the normal creature comforts that backseat passengers will want. I do love certain luxuries and features, but some of the arm are just worthless junk. The one time i took my F80 on a 1-2 hour road trip, my backseat passengers bitched and moaned about the rough ride the whole time I don't think they cared about the arm rest.

The same seats are fitted to f20, f30, f31, f80, f34, f36.

Could careless if it has an arm rest or not. The standard have fixed tilt and the sports go one notch lower (about 2cm) and several above. I sit in the driver seat and rarely have anyone in the backseat. Honestly, I think they haven't gone far enough in shedding weight.
